This object is a circle in shape, and the upper diameter is longer than the lower part. Furthermore, it was unearthed in the form of strip. The decorative patterns consist of four groups of pattern with a fish, a sword, a bird and a circle. The fish pattern has short and wide body, big head and round eyes with hooked mouth on which the barbels and scales are able to see. There are a long dorsal fin and two short pelvic fins on its body. The crimpy fishtail looks like Y-shaped pattern. An arrow with feather tail shoots at the fish head. A bird is behind the shaft of arrow, and the bird and fish head toward the feather. This is bullnecked bird with long tail, big head with a crown and hooked mouth, stretching legs and claw are described, and the wingspan is not obvious. The width of 2 cm circle is drawn between each pattern group. The profile demonstrates rotation pattern, in the middle of which are two symmetrical circles as rotation pattern as well. There is a rectangular pattern on the top and bottom of the circle. The entire pattern presents an arrow is shooting at fish through a bird by human so that the scholars call it “Gold Crown of Shooting Fish Pattern”. The human head should be at the center of pattern with other symmetrical patterns on the two sides.

The sun and immortal birds gold ornament has two portions of hollowed images: in the middle is a sun with 12 rays, and around the sun, four immortal birds flying anticlockwise. On August 16th, 2005, the sun-and-bird gold foil was announced to the symbol of Chinese Cultural Heritage by State Bureau of Cultural Relics.
It was unearthed in Jinsha site on Feb, 25th, 2001.
